The Greatest Of The
Commandments
And then an
honest scribe came forth and said to Jesus, “Lord, you speak as one whom God
has sent, and may I ask, Which is the greatest and the first of the
Commandments of the Law?”
And Jesus said, “The first is Hear O Israel, the Lord
your God is one; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your
heart, with all your mind, with all your soul and with all your strength; And the second is this, You shall love your neighbour as
yourself. These are the greatest of the Ten Commandments, and on them hang the Law, the Prophets and the Psalms.”
The scribe replied, “My soul gives witness that you speak the truth, for love
fulfils the law, and far surpasses burnt offerings and sacrifice.”
And Jesus said to him, “Behold, you have solved a mystery; you are within the
kingdom and the kingdom is in you.”

The First And Greatest
And one
of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing
that He answered them well, asked Him, “Which commandment is the first and
greatest of all?”
Jesus answered, “The first and greatest is,
‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one; and you shall love the Lord
your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind,
and with all your strength.’
“The second is this, ‘You shall love your
neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
And the scribe said to Him, “You are right,
Teacher; you have truly said that God is one, and there is no other but He; and
to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all
the strength, and to love one’s neighbour as oneself.”
And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He
said to the man, “You are not far from the kingdom of God. These two
commandments you shall keep, in addition to all your free will gifts, regular
offerings and burnt sacrifices. Do these two, before, during and after
presenting your gifts, offerings and sacrifices. In life, every good thing,
whether great or small, is both good and necessary. Therefore, do not consider
any law great or small, because as a great sin leads to condemnation and hell
fire, even so a small sin can lead many more to condemnation and hell fire,
because people belittle the small sins that are mighty in consequences. ” And
after that no one dared to ask Him any question. Mark 12:28-34

The First And Greatest
Commandments
All the above mentioned list is the meaning of the first and greatest commandment.
Hear O Israel, The Lord Your God Is One
God is one, and yet many. Even as one fire can spread into
many separate wildfires, and as one candlelight can spread into several
candlelights.
Even as water is water, and yet there are many waters in the
world.
God is omnipotent, and therefore, he remains one God but manifest
in many ways. This is because the word of God is God, and by the same word He created
all things. By creation, God became all good things, by His infinite power, knowledge
and wisdom. That is why this Holy Book says, “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light. The light was
from God and the light was God.”
Again, this Holy Book says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through
Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.”
Every created thing has the ability to increase and multiply, by reproducing itself, because it inherited this power from God, from the word of God. Likewise, God moulded the body of man, and when He breathed into the body and man became a living soul, because God became man then. That is why man is a perfect God. And that is why you humanity are the children of God, the sons of the living God.
D plants bear witness of this fact, because one plant can
reproduce itself into several separate planes, just as banana and other fruits
do. And just as one animal can reproduce its kind several times.
